THE OPENING5 years after the original Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith return with Men in Black 2. Not nearly as entertaining as the original, the sequel seemed like it was put together in about 5 minutes. No real story, few jokes and a dog that stole the show. THE STORYAgent J (Will Smith) is now 'the man' in the Men in Black. He's been doing his thing for 5 years while Agent K (Tommy Lee Jones) has been a postman in a small New England town. Now an alien (Lara Flynn Boyle) wants some kind of light that is somewhere on Earth, and the only person who knows its whereabouts is Agent K. But of course his memory has been erased. So Agent J needs to find him, convince him to rejoin the Men in Black, get his memory back, and save the Earth once again. And there's a dog that likes to sing. THE REVIEW
THE BOTTOM LINESo overall, Men in Black 2 is one that can easily be skipped in the theaters. If you liked the original, and feel like you have to see the sequel at least wait till it hits second run theaters. If you're gonna waste money on something you won't remember seeing an hour later, at least that way you won't waste a lot of money.
