The best songs on the CD are "Meet Virginia" and "I
Am". "Meet Virginia" is now nationally released and
being played all over. If you haven't heard it, when
you hear the words "Her mama' works on carburators and
daddy wrestles alligators.." you're there. Good stuff.
My personal favorite is "I Am". It's quite the
intraspective song and I think you take from it what
you want to take. Other songs not to be lost are
"Days" and "Swaying" both of which give you a mello
accoustic sound.
Now don't expect to go buy this and blast it out of
your car stereo... unless you want to get beat up.
this is mello music... but well worth it. Take my
advice on this one.
Who remembers hearing the cliche words that we hear
each year when new movies are coming out, "The Feel
Good Movie of the Summer". Well, as much as I hate to
use it, if the shoe fits. Train's debut album is
simply a feel good CD. Nothing complicated, just
music that gets to its point the natural way. What do
I mean by that? Example, think of John Cougar
Melloncamp's Pink Houses and Jack and Diane... simple
and to the point. That's what you'll get here.
