Do you have problems falling asleep at night? Well a cure is at hand and it was just released by Radiohead in the form of Kid A. To add insult to injury, the band has declared that they are not even going to tour in support of the CD. I believe a few shows have been set but no more. And I know why... because the CD sucks.

Amazingly enough Kid A is the dumbest song on the CD. As a matter of fact, this song gave me flash backs of the Sir millard mulch CD recently reviewed. The National Anthem, is basically high-tech porn music. Waking from my slumber I was just able to determine that How to Disappear Completely, track 4, also sucked and wished that my desire to buy this CD had completely disappeared prior to its purchase. Song 5, Treefingers, is an instrumental having the same quality of a CD I once got for free with a purchase a Pier One Imports called The Sounds of Morning. The only song, to me, that in the least amount redeems the CD is Everything In It's Right Place, the first track. Its all down hill from there.

I'd be lying if I said I was a Radiohead fan, but I have liked their work in the past. Especially their last effort which I reviewed here. However, this is a piss poor attempt at a new album. Too much heroin? Who knows. But it is entirely too laid back and even comes off pretentious in the fact that they expect the mainstream listener to get into this. Now if you're a Radiohead fanatic, sure you'll probably like this CD. I know how that can be. I mean I'm a Bruce Willis fan and I like Hudson Hawk. However, I never lose site of the true reality of it all, that movie sucks! So save your money on this one.
