Once in a while you buy a CD that has a little something for everyone. If you haven't, then go out and buy the Goo Goo Dolls "Dizzy Up The Girl". I'm not sure how many albums they have put out in the past (at least 2) but this one is the first commercial success.First, as previously mentioned, you get a little bit of everything. You want a punk sound, song 7: "Amigone". Want some rock, song 13: "Hate This Place". Want acoustic, song 10: "Acoustic #3". With the exception of speed metal and swing music, you'll get a little of it all here. Plus, it has the smash hit "Iris", which was emotional lead song from the movie "City of Angels". The album also has the song "Slide" which has come into its own on the radio as of recent. However, I'd expect to hear a lot of this album in the coming weeks.
Overall, you can take this album anywhere and have a good time listening to it. Driving, hanging, boozing, smoking, rolling around with your favorite life form, I think you'll enjoy this one.
