Sleeping Giants
Knucklehead

The Sleeping Giants are a unsigned group of musicians from Wheeling, West ‘by God' Virginia. They have one CD out and it rocks. The CD title is "Knucklehead" and it has 11 tracks. I can't say anything bad about this CD. It presents a collection of fast and medium speed music with the alternative sound thrown in with some acoustic stuff. The vocals on the album are clear and distinctive from other alternative scream abouts. Most of all, the music is catchy. The songs seem to stick in your head as you go about your daily routine. If often find myself humming them in the car or in the shower. Some of the best songs on the CD are "Uniform Soldier," "Revolution (currently played on the X in Pittsburgh) ," and "Holes in My Pockets (played on the Conan O'Brian Show last Fall)." I saw this band on stage in Morgantown, and beyond the fact that they play great music, they have an awesome stage presence. You can find their CD's at National Record Mart or online at one of their web pages. I highly advise this choice. Primary Authority!
