What are some of the high points you ask? By now,
I'm sure you've heard "LIT UP" the first track on the
CD. Coke heads love it and i'm sure you will too. It
simply a kick ass song! "Check Your Head" is another
good sond which is a little slower...much like and
based on similar circumstances as the Black Crows "She
Talks w/ Angels." Except a boy named Jessi dies from
acid rather than being addicted to heroin. Some of
the other good songs on the Cd are "Lawless and Lulu
(THIS IS ONE SONG)" and "Borderline".
Sometimes when I give a CD a yellow light I feel
like I'm trashing it....and sometimes I am. On this
one, however, I'm not. This is a good CD, the problem
is if you have a Black Crows CD, you can get the same
thing out of it as this one. And if I was going to
guess, this will be the last CD from these
fellas.....at least one worth a shit.
Welcome back rock and roll! Buckcherry's first CD
is a breath of fresh air for those of you who are
tired of rap and the Seattle sound. The 12 track CD's
kicks some ass in the rock and roll department.
However, I must admit that it sounds very much like
the Black Crows old stuff. That is why I gave it a
yellow light b/ for me it removes some of the
originality that make a CD truly good.
